Highly recommend for any dinner! The menu is so well done. Favorites include: beef and shrimp risotto, the lobster dip and please do yourself a favor and try the crab cakes, delish!
This was my first time at Helix, and my only complaint was how difficult it was to narrow down the menu options to 1 thing! I had the beef/shrimp risotto and it knocked my socks off, as did the Empress 75 cocktail. I already can't wait to go back.
It had been far too long since we had eaten here. We were certainly excited for our Saturday night reservations. It was hard to stay away any longer. We had been looking at all of the great Facebook posts that Helix had been putting up showcasing the specials leading up to our visit. The regular menu has many excellent choices as well. They have a great selection of drinks too. We chose Crab Dip for our appetizer. It was a tough call, because there was a Thai Pork Belly appetizer that was looking delicious as well. Our server was prompt and attentive. We also got a hello from Brad so that's how it's an extra added bonus :) My wife had the Brazed Beef and Shrimp over Mushroom Risotto and I had the special of the day which was Beef Tips covered with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce over mashed potatoes topped with haystack onions. Both of our meals were absolutely delicious. I can't recommend Helix enough. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram to keep an eye on what they are serving up next!
A very nice, somewhat quaint yet modern eatery. The food was quite good and the service equally friendly. Due to the time we supped, there was a wait but it was worth it. The only drawback, and this is personally my opinion, the noise level. For us older folk the high, open ceiling setup, common among numerous other eateries makes it a challenge for conversion at times. We did make a reservation.
Serving staff was fast and friendly! After putting in our entree order, our food came out in less than 20 minutes. Great atmosphere, great food, and a good wine list. Highly recommend!

A quiet, intimate experience. Perfect for date night, or smaller celebrations. Great service from the staff & from what I could tell they organize reservations so servers aren't over sat so they can offer impeccable service. I went here in 2021 for my birthday and had the chocolate martini, pork belly & beef tostada's for apps and then I had the special which was shrimp & grits and it was heavenly. For dessert we had the Creme Brulle which was rich and tasted lovely. It is higher in price but worth it, can't wait to dine here again soon to try something new.
